This is the fourth episode of this ‘In Conversation Series’ conducted by Dr Sreenanti Banerjee. It includes a conversation with Dolon Ganguly. Dolon Ganguly describes herself as an intersectional feminist and has been actively involved with the women’s movement in India. She has been working in the development sector in India for the past three decades. Her involvement with the development sector has primarily centered around promoting women’s economic and social rights. She is currently the Chief Functionary of Azad Foundation in India. Dolon has been a part of various advocacy processes to foster women’s inclusion in non-traditional livelihoods. She writes on gender and various other social issues in leading Bengali journals and dailies on a regular basis. In the year 2013, she received the prestigious Laadli Media Award for gender sensitivity.
